After 50 lessons with Kazumi, I can confidently say she is an excellent teacher. She is always patient, encouraging, and well prepared. Her lessons are structured but flexible, and she adapts to my pace (I don't study. I'm a bad student I know). I've become much more confident understanding my Japanese wife and children thanks to her. I highly recommend her to anyone starting their Japanese learning journey.

Update: I have been working with Kazumi-san for about 3 months now and I have learned a lot and my Japanese has improved immensely not only from the work bork as well as from the practice through immersion. We are almost finished with Genki 1 and I am looking forward to working with her on Genki 2! Lets put my studies to the test: かずみさんともう3ヶ月ぐらい勉強してますが、沢山学んで、日本語もすごく上達しました！もうすぐ「げんき１」が終わって、「げんき２」も一緒に勉強するのがたのしみです！

Kanji is getting harder! I hope to take JLPT N5 and I think Kazuhiro-san’s teaching along with Genki is very helpful. She is always so patient and helps out whenever I’m stuck. There are even more vocabulary words to memorize. Will keep studying Japanese!

The materials are getting harder and I am enjoying the challenge. Homework has been very helpful in retaining materials. I still get shy speaking and forgetting the particles. But Kazumi-san has always been encouraging and asking a lot of questions. She keeps English to minimal, unless I’m super stuck on something and requested her help. Highly recommended for beginners! Very immersive.

I am preparing for JLPT N5 in couple of months. Kazumi-san has been very helpful since the beginning because she uses Genki textbook. Our sessions are very fun as we spend more time talking too. She is great at letting me know about my pace and giving feedbacks. Highly recommend, especially if you want structured and well organized lessons.
