Hello, everyone! I’m Yukari. Why not start learning Japanese with me? I’m a mother of two children and used to work as a nurse, so I’m very patient and always supportive. In my free time, I enjoy jogging, traveling, learning other languages (I’m currently studying Chinese), and watching movies.
I mainly focus on two types of lessons: structured beginner lessons using GENKI and practical Japanese conversation for doctor visits. For beginners starting Japanese from zero, I use GENKI and my slides to explain grammar and useful expressions clearly. Conversation practice is included so students can actively use what they learn.
For practical Japanese conversation for doctor visits, I draw on my experience as a nurse in Japan and on having lived abroad, so I understand how stressful visiting a doctor in a foreign country can be. Through role-play and common situational phrases, students practice real conversations, gain confidence, and feel more comfortable visiting a doctor in Japan.

ゆかり先生 is a very patient teacher, and she goes methodically through subjects to teach effectively. Before this, I had little practice with conversation, but she has helped me gain more confidence in speaking. She has also been very accommodating about which topics we learn, and she's always very kind and encouraging as we go at a comfortable pace. Highly recommend!
