Hello! My name is Joy, and I am passionate about languages, teaching, and helping people connect through communication. I was born in Kenya, and I currently live in Nairobi. Growing up here has allowed me to experience the Swahili language in its most natural cultural setting.
I enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and supporting them on their language-learning journey. Outside of teaching, I love reading, working in my bookshop, and learning new things. I am an experienced online and in-person instructor with a strong passion for helping students grow in confidence. I hold a TEFL certificate and have taught learners from different backgrounds, which has strengthened my ability to explain ideas clearly and patiently.
