Excellent lesson where we talked about a variety of topics ranging from my dog to modes of travel in the city, the traffic situation, detailed discussion about the legal profession and the court system and family law (divorce) cases . We also discussed parts of Kenya worth visiting, the Kenyan coast and what makes it a tourist attraction. the variety of topics really helps bring together what I've been learning about le passe compose and challenges me to broaden my vocabulary, especially nouns and adjectives! Time flew by very quickly!! :)

What made today's lesson so enjoyable is that it felt like a very natural conversation I'd have with someone new to Nairobi or someone planning to visit Nairobi who wants to know more about the city. It definitely made me think about all the different French adjectives! :) Really enjoyed the lesson!

Patrick is an amazing teacher: friendly, cultured, intelligent, and curious conversationalist. Highly recommend!

Today's lesson was a lot of fun - very spontaneous and brought together a lot of prior learning from previous lessons , especially passe compose as we talked about what I studied at Uni and my uni years and career progression to date. Very interesting and challenging in equal measure! :)

Such a fun and energizing lesson! We had a really great discussion on the passé composé, using the theme of describing my past weekend, which made everything feel practical and easy to remember. The tutor’s structure for learning and practicing verbs was excellent - clear, step-by-step, and immediately usable in conversation. I loved how interactive the class was: lots of speaking, helpful corrections, and explanations that actually clicked. I finished the lesson feeling genuinely more confident and excited to keep learning. Highly recommend!

The structured manner using specific themes and going back to check progress is helping me learn very fast! I'm really happy with his teaching style!
