Rui

Just finished yet another great lesson with Rui sensei. As always she was very patient and explained things very clearly. We started off with free conversation for maybe 15 minutes before going into our lesson topic. For each lesson she is happy to focus on whatever topic her student is interested in, but for me I really appreciate her having a prepared topic each time. Today we talked about 睡眠 and 迷信 and learned some very interesting things from Japanese culture. And as always she sent me a list afterwards of new vocabulary that came up during the lesson. This is helpful as it allows me to focus more on the lesson rather than taking notes. I highly really recommend Rui sensei as a teacher.

Rui is a FANTASTIC teacher! If you are looking for an excellent Japanese teacher to study search no further. She is VERY patient and KIND correcting all my mistakes and explains everything very clearly to me. She goes above and beyond when it comes to teaching! A total breeze! Very awesome teacher! Always alot of fun! とても楽しかった!

One of the best lessons I've ever had, and all we did was chat! Super fun, can't wait for the next one!

Another helpful lesson with Rui. As before, she continues to be attentive and patient as I try to produce words, and I am able to bounce off new grammar constructs to see whether I'm using them correctly. She speaks at an understandable pace, so at no point during the hour did I feel overwhelmed. Her good command of English is especially appreciated when explaining the subtle nuances between similar words or phrases. I look forward to another lesson. :)

Even after a long break, it was super easy to get straight back into learning!

It was a really good and productive lesson, even when Rui was sick!
