Learning languages is a passion of mine, along with many others :-) Whether you’re a beginner or advanced learner, I’ll tailor lessons to your goals, from casual chats to professional writing. I believe in helping you master French as it is spoken/written by actual French speaking people, not textbooks. This means adapting the material and language level to the situation. Indeed, we don’t usually speak in daily life the way a journalist does on the news. And we don’t write a formal report as we would an email to a friend. So knowing your goals and why you are learning French is essential. I try to stick to French as much as possible during the lessons in order to build up your confidence. In writing though, depending on your level, I might use English to make things clearer. For young children, I'll focus on learning through games and little stories.

CONVERSATION : Any subject welcome! If you are a beginner, we'll use written dialogs as a base for our lessons. If you are intermediate or advanced, we can use podcasts, videos, written texts, books,... or just have a spontaneous conversation. At the end of the lesson you'll have all the new vocabulary in a google doc. TEXT CORRECTION : under 500 words (see lesson description), correction within 48h No video, no chat: you'll get the corrections and the explanations all in the same Google document (you'll get a link) PROOFREADING : contact me for price and availability Any document welcome (letter, thesis, article, CV...) Should be submitted on Google docs (you'll get a link)

Over the last month, Charlotte helped me prepare for the FIDE exam in Switzerland. One of the best things about Charlotte's teaching style is her ability to adapt to the unique needs of her students. She provided corrections and suggestions when I experienced difficulties with specific grammar points or vocabulary and patiently helped me improve my pronunciation. Her tailored approach to language instruction helped me improve my French skills dramatically in a short period of time, and her warm and supportive demeanor made me comfortable asking questions and seeking clarification. I even booked a "warm-up" session with her on the morning of the exam, which helped me go into the test feeling confident. Thanks to her guidance, I achieved a 98% on the speaking/listening portion of the exam and a 97% on the writing/reading portion. I am deeply grateful for Charlotte's help and attribute so much of this success to her! I highly recommend her to anyone seeking to improve their French!
