My first lesson with Airi was a great experience. Although I felt nervous at first, she quickly put me at ease with her cheerful and encouraging personality. During the 30-minute trial lesson, she used simple Japanese conversation to gauge my ability level and discussed a plan for what I wanted to focus on to improve my Japanese.
She also puts a lot of care into understanding her students, taking thoughtful notes and planning questions to get to know them better. I came away from the lesson feeling comfortable, motivated, and excited to continue studying with her.
