Hello, I am Elis! I am a cheerful and down-to-earth person with a natural curiosity for languages and cultures. I have a rich and colourful experience of living abroad and travelling to many countries in Europe and Asia, which required the intensive use of English in various real-life circumstances. I lived in Denmark for 12 years, a country that consistently ranks as one of the best non-native English-speaking countries in the world with very high English proficiency. I am a TEFL-certified English teacher with 200-hour Level 5 training, which is an Ofqual-regulated qualification in the UK, academically equivalent to a Foundation Degree. I am passionate about clear and effective communication—a conscious tool for expressing authenticity optimally.
I have experience working as a Japanese Zen Shiatsu therapist in my own clinic in Copenhagen, Denmark. Through that experience, I learned to work with people in a caring and compassionate way, communicate consciously, and tailor my services to individual needs. My teaching style is student-centred with a communicative approach. In our sessions, we will mainly practice speaking through activities like discussions and role play. I will provide materials for you to prepare before the session and homework afterward. We can focus on any area where you have difficulties or wish to improve, whether that is grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, or the core skills of speaking, listening, writing, and reading. In my sessions, you will improve your skills in clear and effective communication, authentic self-expression, and the use of functional English for real-life situations, while gaining a solid grasp of grammar and vocabulary.ประกาศนียบัตร
