My children really enjoy the varied activities and materials, and I find the record of the vocabulary they've learned very useful.

A lot of native Cantonese teachers feel intimated with reading with romanization systems and with identifying the tones in the words that they pronounce. They also don’t understand that those tools are very valuable for westerners who want to learn Cantonese. Angela is one of the few exceptions among native Cantonese teachers. She will help you with getting the tones right and with using romanization systems, especially jyutping.

I enjoyed our lesson. I speak Cantonese mainly, so it's helpful to have someone who speaks both Cantonese and Mandarin while trying to learn Mandarin. I could figure out the intricacies of both languages since some Canto phrases don't translate. And she provides content with the hanzi with pinyin on top of the word, which I find helpful!
