Henry

This was my 110th lesson with Henry. I am a veterinarian with a practice on the Central Coast of California and my wife and I travel frequently to Germany. Both of us have had over 100 lesson with Henry and have made significant progress. Henry is willing to go as quickly or slowly as needed to help us learn the language. I highly recommend him.

Wow, 100 lessons! That's hard to believe! Henry, you are still just as patient and prepared during my 100th lesson as you were during the 1st. When I started, I didn't know ANY German, and I've learned so much. I'm looking forward to the next 100 lessons! :-)

Henry is an excellent teacher. He is obviously very experienced with breaking down concepts easily and identifying problem areas, etc. - And he is very gracious. Last week there was a problem with connectivity on my end and he refunded my and allowed me to reschedule the lesson even though is was an issue on my part. Vielen dank Henry!

Im currently working on getting to a B2 level and I feel confident that I can get there with Henry. He points out issues in my language and helps me to fix them, or works with me for a couple lessons to improve them. He also introduces new Grammar ideas or Vocabulary that helps me significantly to improve my language. Thank you! I hope to reach B2!

Henry is the best. I trialed many teachers on italki and so far, he has been the only one who has actually created his own curriculum, which must have been a lot of work, and I appreciate that. What I like about Henry the most is his depth of knowledge. He gives you all the details, history/origin of why things are the way they are, which helps me understand why I am learning what I am learning. His curriculum is also very good, structured appropriately, progressing from one lesson to the next one, but also includes a lot of reading and grammar exercises, which help me solidify the newly acquired concepts. I also like the back and forth on some of the "discuss this topic" exercises, as they are very tailored and level appropriate. Also, he doesn't shy away from giving feedback when needed, but delivers it with kindness and actionable plan, telling you exactly which lesson to go back to. Lastly, he even spent the time to input the vocabulary into italki mobile app, just awesome!
