Hello! My name is Takako, a cheerful and patient Japanese teacher living in Japan. I am also a professional singer and voice instructor, which gives me a unique perspective on teaching with rhythm, clear pronunciation, and confidence. Teaching and connecting with people is my passion.
I have also been a student on italki, learning English, French, Portuguese, and more, so I understand how challenging learning a new language can be. In my lessons, we focus on daily conversation, grammar, or even Japanese songs if you like. Your everyday life can be your best learning material! I strive to make lessons relaxing, motivating, and supportive, helping you enjoy learning Japanese naturally.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I am a voice and singing teacher with over 26 years of experience, teaching students from many countries, often using Japanese songs to learn the language. I have organized concerts and voice seminars, and some private students have studied with me for over 20 years. As an italki tutor, I create lessons tailored to each student—conversation, grammar, or Japanese through music. I share documents, record audio for homework, and support each student’s goals. Teaching is my passion, and students’ smiles are my greatest motivation.

Please feel free to ask about lesson times and content. I create lessons tailored to each student’s needs. Basically, lessons focus on conversation, using topics you are interested in to learn pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar naturally. I can also share documents to track your progress and make the lessons interactive.
If you enjoy Japanese songs, we can use them to study deeply—understanding meaning, practicing intonation, rhythm, and singing along with the melody. We had a really fun lesson! We talked about a podcast we had both listened to. Then Sensei encouraged me to think about how I would talk about this topic from the perspective of my own country. I got to try talking about challenging topics such as the history of my country. I appreciate how Sensei is helping me strengthen my listening and speaking skills, and teaching me great expressions and vocabulary words so I can express myself more precisely. Thank you as always!
