I became a tutor to help people practice what they are learning. Conversations are an exceptional way to build your vocabulary, increase your confidence and open your world to language studies. It’s hard to join a conversation. I can help you. It's hard to carry on a conversion, I can help. Children learn easier. It's harder for us adults! I have tutored many kids and have quite a few return regularly, but twice the amount of adults have weekly classes. We have a great time learning.

I have extensive practical experience as a journeyman service technician. Engineering gives you a deep understanding of the equipment and its practical application. I can leverage this hands-on experience to make your lessons practical and relevant.
My philosophy is to encourage questions and foster open dialogue which creates a supportive learning environment. This is crucial for ensuring that you, the student feel comfortable asking for clarification and actively participating in discussions.

Bachelor’s - Mechanical EngineeringI have a degree in mechanical engineering. I have attended several years of factory training from companies, whose equipment I would repair. I have a total of 32 years as a journeyman service technician, 25 of those, as a contractor in the field of restaurant equipment repair. I would talk with people all day. Much of my teaching style comes from training people how to use the equipment in restaurants. My philosophy to teaching is there is no dumb question; if you don't know, ASK!

Business/Conversation English TutorHaving had my own company for 40 years, I bring a wealth of experience in the business world of learning a language; specifically English. I can help you prepare for an interview, strike up a conversation in a professional capability, or talk with a stranger in the grocery line.
Language learning doesn't have to include grammar or rules governing vocabulary. Unless you are studying to be a teacher, grammar doesn't play a part in everyday speaking. Speaking correctly comes with practice.
