Do you finish meetings feeling you had more to say, but couldn't find the words in English?
I can help. These are not general English lessons. I teach English for real work situations: meetings, quick discussions, progress updates and difficult conversations.
I am from Cambridge, UK. I have 15 years of experience in IT and business. Since 2014, I have helped professionals in Europe and Asia speak more clearly and feel more confident at work.
Every student starts with a free Gap Analysis — a short test that shows me your grammar, the way you speak, and the areas you need to improve. In our first lesson, we look at the results together and make a plan for your goals.
Lessons focus on speaking. You watch short videos at home, practise speaking in class, and get feedback straight away. I help you find better words, fix your sentences, and sound more natural and professional. Many students notice a difference after the first three lessons.
One important skill we practise is giving clear, short summaries: the main point, why it is important, and what should happen next. This helps you sound more confident with managers, clients and international colleagues.

Just had a trial class with Matthew, and it was awesome! He is super experienced and so patient.He is good at making a study plan for each student. What i love most is his teaching idea “The more mistakes you make, the more you grow. Don’t be scared of messing up.” It’s different from what I was taught at school. Before, I’d always worry about making mistakes and felt too nervous to speak up. But now, I feel way more confident. I’m sticking with Matthew for more sessions.
