If you want to improve your English while gaining more confidence and enjoying the journey, lets begin! Hello! My name is Kate, and I was born and raised in Canada. While I have spent most my years living in Canada, I have been fortunate to work and live in several countries. As a language learner myself, I know first hand how enjoyable yet sometimes how difficult it can be to learn a new language. There is no easy trick to language learning - it takes time, motivation and practice. Allow me to help you through your journey! I am patient and committed, and I want the learning process to be entertaining and enjoyable for you.

In our first lesson I will analyse your level of English, discuss your learning requirements, and then draw up learning plan that is suited to your own schedule and budget. My lessons are relaxed and thoroughly enjoyable. I like to use learning materials from my vast database of worksheets and books where I introduce additional exercises to tailor each piece of material to you. I have been teaching students of all ages, from young children to senior citizens and from more than 15 different countries, including China, Algeria, Turkey, South Korea, Mexico, and India.

Over the years, I have taught students a variety of English skills including business English, conversation, interview preparation, pronunciation, grammar, and proofreading / editing. If there is something in particular you would like to learn, please let me know, and I will plan our lesson around your specific needs!
