Bonjour! I’m your go-to teacher for lively, mistake-friendly French lessons—especially if you’re dreaming of Canada or adore Québécois culture.
Spots usually fill fast but message me—I’ll try my best to fit you in. However, please note that if you do not show up for a lesson, you will have taken the place of another student.
If you do not show up, I will consider the lesson complete after a certain time and will expect payment. That being said,

I am a teacher who really cares about her students. One of the biggest compliment I can get is when people tell me they feel comfortable speaking and making mistakes during our classes. After all, we learn languages in order to communicate with others (me included!), not to feel judged. I will try my best to motivate you and remind you why you are learning French by making my classes fun, interesting and efficient. Each student is different so I always adapt the lesson to the student. Lastly, I prefer an informal approach as I feel one can learn better while having fun! บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I offer different types of lessons. Please ask me before booking if you are not sure which one would be the most useful for you.
If you prefer a 100% grammar class with a book, I'm probably not the teacher for you. I prefer to teach grammar in context because I find it gives better results. I usually use my own material and make lessons tailored to each student's needs. However, if you prefer following a book, I am also open to it. Everybody learns in a different way.
I am easy to talk to and very open minded so don't be shy to ask any questions.

I have been working with Helene for the past 6 months or more. She is one of the best teacher I have ever had in my life and also such a kind, compassionate and wonderful person.
I was able to prepare in a very short time the TEF for Canada and I scored very high, getting better results than expected. It was seriously an amazing result which I could have not achieved without her preparation and expertise. I am also following conversation classes and talk about film/series/books with her. The lessons are never boring, always prepared in details, fun and fitting my needs. Hélène listens and supports you not only looking at the technical point of view of the language but also and especially from the human side. I think the biography on her profile is very true but even more, she is such an attentive person. Plus I always get the best advice on Quebec/Montreal life/personal experiences on living abroad and I suggestions and recommendations for my upcoming move to the Canada!

Helene is an awesome teacher. We have time for conversational french as well as time to discuss my assignment. She understands my needs and tailors the assignments according to my interests. During free-form conversation she tries to speak so that I am both understanding and also challenged. She stops to clarify when I don't understand. I'm having lots of fun with the assignments and our lessons!

Hélène is a fantastic teacher! She is incredibly knowledgeable about the requirements for the TEF and TCF exams, and she is thoughtful, energetic, and encouraging. In the first lesson, we got right into practice exercises and corrections, which was super helpful. Beyond being an experienced and skilled instructor, she is a joy to speak to and work with! I recommend her without reservation.
