Vinnie is the real deal. I have taken classes with many portuguese teachers on italki, but most of them were not able to help my portuguese in a substantial way. In one lesson, Vinnie was able to help my spoken Portuguese significantly. Vinnie himself has gone through the process of learning multiple languages to a high degree of fluency, and is extremely detail-oriented. Vinnie can help with your pronunciation, phrasing and vocabulary, and is an interesting conversationalist. I will definitely be taking more classes with Vinnie. Highly recommended for advanced speakers who want substantial input!

Great class

I took some classes with Vinnie a few months ago, but life got in the way and I wasn’t able to continue. I thought often how much he had taught me though and decided to book another class recently. If you’re lucky enough to have Vinnie as your teacher, don’t make the mistake I did in not booking more classes right away because you’ll regret it. He works hard for each student to have them achieve their goals in language learning. He makes sure you are pronouncing every word correctly and pushes you to do your best, so every class is challenging. But at the same time it doesn’t feel like work because he makes certain you will laugh and enjoy yourself so the time flies by. He has a natural ability to assess your needs and adapt the lesson to best suit you and ensure success. On top of all that, he puts a lot of effort into the homework he sends that is tailored to what is both interesting to you and will help you to achieve more. Muito obrigada!
