After 35 lessons with Mariola, I especially appreciate how she helps me put my past learning to real-life use. We revisit grammar points from different angles and in new contexts, which I believe has helped me begin using them more and more spontaneously in conversation. When a correction is needed, she has a wonderful way of reformulating what I say in a corrected, more precise, or simply more natural way without interrupting the flow in the slightest. Her practical discussion prompts spark real conversation that can take on a life of its own! Her warmth ensures an easy sense of connection that makes every session feel welcoming and fun. Highly recommended.

Do you ever have a lesson where you glance at the clock, and when you see you are only half way, you think "Whoa, this is hard work"? And if the clock says you have 5 minutes to go, you think "Thank heavens for that!"? I think we have all experienced that, probably more often than not. As much as you are committed to learning a language, it feels like work, and it takes concentration. The thing is, I sometimes look at the clock in Mariola's lessons too, but it feels totally different. If I see I am only half way through, I think "Great, still plenty of time", and when there is 5 minutes left, my heart sinks a little. Talking to Mariola is simply a heap of fun, even in a foreign language. It is never boring. I can't really say that about many classes I have had during my life, while learning a language or some other skill. Most lessons are a chore. It takes a great teacher to be genuinely motivational. Mariola is such a teacher.

One thing I appreciate about Mariola's teaching is how naturally she integrates conversation with focused instruction. We often begin with free conversation before transitioning to a guided discussion centered on a theme. This often provides a natural context for expanding my vocabulary or revisiting a grammar point. When I make a mistake, she often corrects it indirectly by repeating the sentence back to me using the correct form, allowing the conversation to continue naturally. A grammar point that comes up in one lesson may then be revisited in a later session, sometimes addressed more directly through speaking exercises designed to reinforce it. It gives each lesson a real sense of continuity, with earlier difficulties becoming opportunities for further practice.

Already had many lessons with Mariola, and yet every new lesson is not only very informative, but also a great pleasure. She is very competent and knows very well how to improve your language skills step by step. I am very grateful, highly recommended.
