I have a bachelor's degree in History and a MA in Spanish Linguistics. I have taught History in public schools in the U.S. and have taught English in mostly private institutes and Universities outside the U.S. in Perú and Colombia. Because of my interdisciplinary background, I love to incorporate history and literature into teaching of Language. Tengo un titulo de la historia y una maestría del la linguistica Española. He enseñado la historia en la escuela secundaria en EEUU por 5 años y enseñé el Ingles en institutos privados en Perú y una universidad en Colombia. Como resultado de mis estudios interdisciplinarios me encanta incorporar la historia y literatura en mis lecciones.

2017-2018 Fulbright Scholar and Assistant English Professor at La Universidad EAN in Bogotá Colombia. 2015-2017, 2018-2020 History and geography teacher to high school English Second Language students in Houston, Texas. 2015 Taught English in the International Language Center in Chachapoyas, Perú. 2013-2014 High School World history teacher in Lansing, Michigan during end of 2013 and 2014. Then traveled to Alaska where I taught tourists Alaskan history, geography, geology and wildlife as a bicycle tour guide in Skagway, Alaska.

I will provide topics and lessons based on your level of understanding. I have experiences teaching beginners, intermediate and advances learners. I like to base my lessons off of your (the student's) interests. I will design questions, topics and lessons that incorporate your interests to ensure you enjoyment of the lessons. Please tell me what you would like to learn and talk about ahead of time. Each lesson includes practice speaking, listening, reading and writing.
