Ed Business English

I really liked this teacher. I felt comfortable talking to him. I didn't feel any fear or anxiety. He explains everything and it is clear that he has a lot of experience. I look forward to further cooperation.

The Ed's lessons are really for shy and nervous students (the majority of us). :) You can have thousands of words in your passive vocabulary and learn English grammar for years, but still not able to express your ideas in a correct way. Before Ed's lessons I even didn't know that I already have enough knowledge to speak more or less fluently. I appreciate Ed's support and patience!

Ed와 함께 7개월 동안 매주 1시간씩 수업을 하였습니다. 초반에는 수업 주제를 Ed가 준비해왔고, 2-3문단 독해 또는 주어진 질문에 대답하며 토의하기를 하였습니다. 이후 제가 먼저 수업자료를 찾아와서 같이 그것을 보면서 읽어보고 토의하기도 하였습니다. 이때 제가 한번 쭉 읽고 같은 글을 Ed가 다시 읽어주었는데 원어민 발음을 들으며 스스로 발음을 교정할 수 있었습니다. 요즘에는 영어기사를 하나 선정해서 미리 읽고 한문단으로 짧게 요약을 쓰면, 수업시간에 제가 써온 글을 첨삭하고 기사에 단어들의 뜻과 발음을 공부하고 있습니다. 한국 시간으로 퇴근 후 밤 시간때에 수업을 할 수 있습니다. 정중하고 협조적인 분으로 언제든지 본인에 맞게 수업방법을 설정할 수 있습니다. 일주일에 1시간이지만 미리 자료를 찾고 공부하는 시간을 가져보면 더 많은 학습효과를 얻을 수 있을 것 입니다. 규칙적으로 꾸준히 해보시는 걸 추천드립니다.

Ed is an excellent teacher, whose speech is very clear and understandable. I recommend him.

I have tried different teachers on italki, but only with Ed did I feel an improvement in my language level.
