Having Mexican roots but not having been exposed to the country and culture’s history and development, I have often felt left out in conversations and somewhat disconnected from my Mexican family and friends. Ivonne is helping me bridge that nuanced gap with far deeper insight than I’ve ever pursued, all while discovering the bits of grammar and vocabulary I’ve been missing.
