Bonjour, je m'appelle Carine, je suis française et j'habite en France !
I have 12 years of experience teaching French as a foreign language: 7 years on Italki ( more than 3 000 lessons) and 5 years of face-to-face tutoring in England.
All these teaching years have allowed me to gain experience teaching a broad range of pupils from basic to advanced levels and from children to senior students. I have also been teaching two groups in an English company and I also taught groups of children for the company Les Puces Early Years.
Before, I used to be a graphic designer and a Graphic Design teacher for seven years.

My lessons are tailor-made and will follow your needs, tastes, suggestions and demands to meet your goals and expectations.
We will decide a plan together, then change and adapt when necessary.
I am offering:

- Any school exam preparation: GCSE, IGCSE...

My teaching style is to adapt my teaching to each student depending on their age, character and language level.
In practice:
- We can have formal lessons with a mix of grammar, tenses, verbs, vocabulary and idioms AND conversation practice with exercises, texts, games, role plays and other materials.
- We can have conversations, discussions or debates on different topics, current affairs or French culture.
- We can study texts, articles or books from French literature.
- We can work on your writing skills.
- We can practice phone-calls, work conversations, interviews...

I've now had about 20 or so lessons with Carine over the last 8 or 9 months and I can honestly say that she has helped me massively with my French. Her lessons are always interesting and I come away from them each week feeling enthusiastic about my language journey. My confidence with speaking French has really improved as has my understanding of French grammar. I would highly recommend Carine to anyone looking to improve.
