Hello! :) I’m Brett, a native English teacher from Canada currently living in Brazil 🇧🇷 I speak Brazilian Portuguese and French as foreign languages, so I truly understand how challenging it can feel to express yourself in a new language. That’s why my goal is simple: to help you feel comfortable, confident, and excited to speak English in real-life situations. My teaching style is relaxed, friendly, and conversation-focused. I create a safe space where you can speak freely, make mistakes, and improve naturally without pressure. I believe that the key to fluency is speaking regularly, so our lessons focus on real conversations about topics that interest you - travel, culture, work, or everyday life - while building your vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence. At the same time, I’m very adaptable. If you prefer more structure, I can provide clear explanations, corrections, and targeted practice based on your goals. I hold a TESOL certification, an MBA in Global Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. Beyond teaching, I’m passionate about languages, travel, stand-up comedy, and connecting with people from around the world. Eu adorei a aula com o Brett. Ele me deixou muito a vontade e o tempo todo foi me motivando a falar sem medo de cometer erros. Isso foi muito importante para mim, porque ele parece ja ser um amigo antigo. Eu com certeza recomendo a aula com ele principalmente se você tem vergonha ou medo de cometer erros.
