I’m an experienced native English teacher from Canada currently living in Brasil. I speak French and Brazilian Portuguese as foreign languages, so I understand the challenges of learning a new language. In addition to my TESOL certification for teaching English, I have an MBA in Global Leadership, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I love languages, travel, and culture, and I enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I’m a patient, friendly, and supportive teacher who focuses on helping students build confidence while speaking English. Because I’ve learned other languages myself, I understand how challenging it can feel to express yourself in a new language. I create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and practicing freely. My lessons focus primarily on conversation, because speaking regularly is one of the most effective ways to build fluency. We can discuss topics that interest you such as travel, culture, work, or daily life while improving your vocabulary, pronunciation, and confidence.
