Hi there! I'm Michael, a British, TEFL-certified English teacher educated to Masters level. I live in London where I work as an IT/Design professional. I enjoy reading, learning Spanish, spending time in nature, and helping others learn. Let's chat!

Please note that I generally do not teach children under 15 unless they have a strong grasp of the language. Also, my informal lessons are for conversational practice and do not follow a structured approach to English grammar. In 2015, I made the decision to teach English abroad and spent a year teaching ages 4-16 at Shane English in Taiwan. Along with lesson planning and grading, I also taught children in Spain for six weeks. Since then, I've been learning Spanish through online services such as Italki, which has helped me understand the difficulties of acquiring a new language. While I mainly teach adults now, I occasionally make exceptions for children who are proficient in conversational English. บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
This really depends on the demand of the student and the type of lesson. My teaching approach prioritises natural conversation and creating a comfortable environment for my students. Many have found my "Conversation Builder" lessons especially rewarding, as they encourage deeper and more meaningful exchanges beyond everyday topics. I also introduce common expressions and idioms to help students sound more like native speakers. Informal lessons are less structured and more relaxed, emphasising effortless and enjoyable conversation rather than new grammatical concepts, although some grammar may still be covered.สื่อการสอนของฉัน

I am looking for a job abroad my country so I decided to have some practice with Michael. He is very cool teacher, well prepared for the lesson, his advices in terms of commonly used phrases, phrasal verbs related to job interviews, probable questions are helpful. Michael’s feedback is very motivating and made me not only prepared for the job interview in terms of my grammar, answers to some questions or vocabulary but also in terms of my confidence.
