IELTS Specialist | Great conversationalist | worked in multiple industries
If there is a word to describe me as a person, that would be ,”strategic.” I thrive with patience and perseverance and it is the same qualities that I apply at work , hobbies and endeavors. I am a nurse by profession but my experience is mainly focused in teaching, sales and customer service. These are jobs that require eloquence or good communication skills. Perhaps, even a touch of magnetism. I do podcasting as a hobby and a business. I also do sales on social media through affiliate marketing. Perhaps, my focus as a person is gaining skills. I am a good conversationalist as a teacher. Somewhat a psychologist too. I ask intelligent and thought-provoking questions that allow my students to improve speaking skills and also their ability to use vocabulary . Most students read and memorize but they do not use those words because of the limitations of their environment. I am rather queer and I have unconventional approaches. I also adapt fast to technology, given my background in social media. I use different approaches , depending on what works but treat my students as intellectual beings nonetheless. My teaching style is a combination of relaxed and strict. Somewhere in the middle of these two. As a teacher, I guide my students to reach the fluency that they need ,without spoon feeding. My thirteen years of expertise in teaching online plus my experience in different industries such as medical field, sales and social media gives me a diverse and unique approach as well as perspective. Since I also encountered different nationalities at this point, I know that cultural aspects play a role too and so I tailor my lessons to student goals. She motivates me to study hard in order to prepare well for the exam and challenges me with difficult discussion topics during the lessons.
