In the summer of 2014, I moved from Chicago to a small, lakeside village in Mexico. I completed a teacher training course, before acquiring my first position as an English teacher in a local private school. Since then, I have gained experience as an educator in three local Mexican schools, along with becoming an online ESL instructor in the spring of 2017. I believe in constantly improving my skills as a foreign language educator. Thus, I am regularly completing new courses and finding new ways to gain experience in this field. This has included spending a week as a volunteer teacher in Sri Lanka, along with taking part in other local volunteer teaching projects here in Mexico.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
My courses include:
+ Basic English for Young Learners
+ English at the Beginner Level
+ English at the Intermediate/Advanced Level
+ Conversational English
+ English Writing (Resumes, Business letters, Essays, etc.)
It is important to me to work with the student, to develop the syllabus that works best for his or her learning style. I want my students to feel comfortable, while also feeling challenged and engaged in the lesson material. Bachelor’s - Writing/Communication StudiesI received a Bachelor's Degree in both the areas of Writing and Communication Studies from Grand Valley State University. During my time here, I also spent the Spring 2013 semester at the Istituto Lorenzo de' Medici in Florence, Italy.

English Teacher -- Intermediate LevelI taught English as foreign language to both secondary and high school students. My students ranged in age from 11 to 18 years old, and they were intermediate level English speakers. In this position, I created my own lesson plans and curriculum to fit the needs of the students. We worked on building their vocabulary, improving their understanding of key grammar rules, and developing their confidence in conversation.
2015 - 2015
English Teacher -- Basic LevelIn this position, I taught English to adult students at the basic level. We focused primarily on laying the foundation for a strong, basic English vocabulary. We also worked on forming simple sentences, for both social and business purposes.
2018 - 2018
English Teacher -- Intermediate and Advanced LevelAt this institution, I followed a set curriculum to instruct both secondary and high school English students at the intermediate and advanced levels. Classroom exercises were primarily centered around important grammar rules and conventions, which were taught and then put into practice through various speaking and listening exercises. Advanced students also held structured debates and completed team and individual projects related to the lesson topics.
2017 - 2020
Online English InstructorThrough an online platform based in Beijing, I educate children between the ages of 4 and 15 years. The students vary in level, from having zero knowledge of the English language to being completely versed in forming and expressing complex opinions on a range of topics. Lesson materials focus on developing reading strategies, engaging students in open conversations, building vocabulary and understanding phonics rules, along with introducing the principles of English grammar.

I really enjoyed the lesson with Brady. The class went by so fast I didn't even notice. Efficient, fun and no stress. I definitely like pronunciation, construction, vocabulary and to be honest absolutely everything. I'm going to continue studying as I feel that I am on the right track with an amazing teacher.
