Carlos est toujours attentif à mes besoins dans l'apprentissage du portugais. Le fait qu'il parle ma langue maternelle est très utile car nous n'avons pas besoin de passer par l'Anglais pour clarifier la signification du vocabulaire et l'usage de règles grammaticales. I've been having classes with Carlos for over a year now and he has been a *huge* part of my portuguese journey. He always brings interesting topics and perspectives to our lessons and motivates me to keep learning. Thank you Carlos for being such a great teacher - if you're looking for a tutor to push you, he is the person for you!

I loved my lesson with Carlos. He wanted to know my learning goals and suggested ways he can help me achieve them. He was very easy to talk to and speaks English so when I didn't understand something he said, he was able to translate for me. He is patient, attentive, and personable...all great qualities in a teacher. Highly recommend!

I’ve had a handful of Portuguese teachers over the years, but Carlos has been the most organized, capturing important vocabulary in a document and is very patient. I can ask him to repeat something five times in a row and he does so without a problem. Looking forward to our next class.
