Learning Turkish with Mehmet has been a great experience. I started with his lessons with only some basic knowledge a few months ago, and I have progressed a lot during this time. Mehmet possesses a profound, professional knowledge of the language and he brings valuable international experience to his teaching, allowing him to understand and engage with international students He is excellent at explaining complex grammar issues clearly, breaking them down to `small bites` and always uses immediate examples so you can straight away apply the concepts. He explains the homework very well, adapts the materials to my personal areas of interest, and truly knows how to engage and motivate his students. He is patient, structured, and a real professional. If you want to learn Turkish fast; cover all language concepts in a concise, fun, organized and efficient way, look no further. Mehmet's classes are always productive, well paced and he prepares alot of excellent material for each class. The material will take you from A1 all the way to C2 and more...Most importantly, Mehmet is patient, encouraging and fun and he will tailor your classes to suit your language needs and pace! I've been learning with Mehmet for over 1.5 years and plan to continue for as long as he teaches on italki :)

I have worked with Mehmet for almost 5 or 6 years now and am very happy to continue working with him. Mehmet makes you feel very comfortable in every lesson and corrects mistakes without making you feel bad about it. His lesson documents are so easy to use and understand. I have looked for teachers of other languages, trying to find someone who teaches similar to Mehmet but have been unable to. I really appreciate his repetition of topics and concepts as well as the amount of homework and other forms of practice we use in class, as I am a learner who really needs practice and repetition.
