I enjoy very much seeing my students’ progress.
I love travelling. My last trips brought me to California, New York, Congo Brazzaville and Denmark.

I adapt my lessons to meet the needs of my students. My teaching style focuses on the skills that the student wishes to improve: oral or written expression, oral or written comprehension. I like to talk or select topics about current political, social or cultural issues. I am curious about other cultures. My lesson today with Marie-France was stellar as usual but the changes to the italki platform leave a lot to be desired. The classroom opened to us 2 minutes after the hour and it ended 5 minutes before the hour. I think there is some work to be done to make it work well. I was definitely not happy with the new system.

I always look forward to my lesson with Marie-France. She takes time to answer my questions, and allows lots of time for practicing my speech, always in a relevant way. The materials we use in class are very well designed to encourage progression in a rational way. One lesson will leave me with questions, and they are answered in the next lesson. I always know what I need to work on to progress so my studies are very directed and I am never bored.
