Hi. My name's Jill and I teach English on italki. I'm from the UK and I live in the north of England but I grew up in the south so I have a standard British accent. I love spending time in the mountains: I like hiking, camping, running and cycling. I love learning as well as teaching languages and can speak Japanese.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I started teaching English over 25 years ago and I have been teaching online since 2019. I am constantly trying to improve my teaching and I am currently studying for a Masters degree in Teaching English to Speakers of other Languages.

My lessons are fun, varied and always well thought-out and planned. I will regularly monitor your progress to see which areas we need to focus on and I will get feedback from you to make sure you are happy with the way things are going.

It's been nearly 3 years since I started with her. She knows my strength and weakness in English very well, and customises lessons for my needs, which I love. She's very professional in many ways, but at the same time fun to talk with. She is a keen language learner herself, so it's nice that she understands difficulties in or joys of learning a language.
