Hello! I'm Lucky Yancy from China. 👋 I'm not a traditional language teacher—I'm a conversational Chinese specialist, experienced entrepreneur, and lifelong learner. I've been involved in business for over 10 years, which has allowed me to travel extensively and meet people from diverse backgrounds across China. ✈️ In my free time, I love reading 📚, drawing comics 🧑🏻‍🎨, and creating thought-provoking stories on my YouTube channel (YMC Learn Chinese), where I share insights into Chinese culture and practical life wisdom. My motto is: "Make learning a way of life." 🌱

I started teaching on italki in early 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic when I was quarantined at home. Italki quickly became a special part of my life, connecting me with amazing students around the world. During those challenging times, teaching and communicating with my students brought great joy and comfort to me. Even after COVID, the meaningful bonds I've formed with my students continue to inspire me every day. I strongly believe that helping others overcome their challenges is one of the best ways to empower ourselves. Or as we say in Chinese: 我坚信，帮助别人解决问题，也是我们实现自我成长的最好途径。 Therefore, I strive to support every student in reaching their full potential.
