Laura Charry

I have the best time with Laura! I learn from the notes, lesson, and worksheets given but most importantly I am learning because I am talking to a friend. She is so helpful that we can speak in Spanish and when I conjugate something incorrectly or don’t know the right word, she very politely corrects me and we move on with the conversation. While I am still far from being fluent, with her reassurance I feel confident that I could be dropped in any Spanish speaking country and be basically understood by locals and can understand what they are saying. I feel so accomplished already! Muchisima gracias, Laura! Eres la mejor!

Laura has been extremely helpful with my journey of becoming fluent in Spanish. I always struggled in college Spanish courses or trying to learn on my own until I started lessons with her. She is a great teacher, always gives assignments to practice for the next lesson, never misses a lesson and is always prepared. I would highly recommend giving her a try!

Laura is an amazing tutor. She somehow manages to keep learning fun, but challenging at the same time. It combines for a really enjoyable class that makes learning Spanish truly enjoyable. She also goes out of her way to make sure you have appropriate material for studies in between sessions. I have definitely improved my Spanish skills since starting and am excited to keep learning with Laura.

Laura is an outstanding teacher. I have been taking Spanish lessons from her for 7 months. We usually meet 3 times a week for our 1-hour classes. I have learned present and future tense verbs and many new vocabulary words. I am working on past tense verbs now. Her lessons fit my learning needs and are helping me gain confidence in my simple conversations with Spanish-speaking community members. I love working with Laura because she is organized and she provides me with homework activities to practice my new skills. She is patient, motivating, fluent in English, and has a good sense of humor. I highly recommend Laura to anyone who wants to learn Spanish on iTalki.
