Teaching is one of my true lifelong passions.
After graduating with honors in English and Spanish Language and Literature at the University of Bologna and receiving a CELTA pass A, I have taught for fifteen years to all levels and age groups. I have experienced the public and private school systems in Italy and Mexico, where I taught both language and literature.
I am an enthusiastic person and as a teacher I would describe myself as competent, energetic and fun (at least so they say!). I am also very patient and I try to find the right approach for every student, so they can make the most of our classes and feel satisfied with their progress.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
My classes are well-prepared and well-structured, according to the CELTA approach. In my courses I make sure we work on every skill (reading, writing, speaking, listening), and I usually mainly focus on one or two of them during each class. I use a wide range of materials and I try to find the most efficient ones for every student, depending on their learning style.
I can vary my teaching style easily, according to the learner's needs and I am excellent at keeping motivation up, which is vital for quick language learning.5.0

Thinking about my path and progress, I have been a student of Michela since January 2024. Merged with my previous self-study knowledge working alongside a native (Michela) has allowed me to propel in encouraging ways. Anyone can teach, but Michela takes it a step further. Her attention, care, patience, and feedback have made learning Italian fun, exciting, educational, engaging, and fast-tracked toward my goals. Wanting to be fluent and reach a specific level seemed out of reach but, since working with Michela, I have been able to not only track my progress and gain real-time feedback from Michela but be encouraged to continue on my path and don't be afraid to learn something in a new way. Soaring my confidence to new heights. Our banter, and one-on-one chats allow me to both practice my Italian and connect in an even more meaningful way. Heightening my learning in ways I was missing before. I look forward to seeing what we accomplish together - even a year from now.

Michela is so energetic it’s clear that she loves to teach. She makes it fun . She also uses some learning tactics that no other teacher has used ( I’ve had 4 others) . I find her methods motivating and effective .

I’ve been studying with Michela for several years. She is an amazing teacher and conversation partner. She is always encouraging. Best of all, we laugh and laugh. It’s like talking with a friend and learning as you go. If you are lucky enough to get on her schedule, you will find learning Italian to be fun.

Michela is an incredible person to work and learn with. The conversations with her are always easy and you learn a lot while having a great time. From the beginning she encouraged me to speak freely and built my confidence. Her method of delayed correction has helped me in improving my language skills. I love how she explains the background and connections to every vocabulary and grammar rule. It gives me a deeper understanding of the italian language.
