My name is Chris and I was born in the UK and I was raised in Germany. I currently live in Italy where I work as an English teacher at a language school. I studied empirical linguistics and I love languages! I am very patient and friendly and want my student to feel comfortable and enjoy the time with me. A lesson without laughing is a failed lesson. Since I studied linguistics I understand and can teach grammar very well. In a way I am a fan of text books. If I have an adult beginner student I prefer to use a book that I have as a PDF file. It helps a lot with reading, writing and listening. I also have materials to fully prepare you for IELTS. Ich bin sehr geduldig und freundlich. Mir ist es sehr wichtig, dass sich mein Schüler wohl fühlt und wir beim Lernen Spaß haben! Durch meine Bildung bin ich in der Lage die deutsche und englische Grammatik zu unterrichten. Für erwachsene Anfänger benutze ich gerne Lehrbücher, die ich als PDF zur Verfügung stellen kann. Ich finde, dass hier auch das Schreiben, Lesen und Hörverstehen gut gelernt werden kann. Wenn der Schüler schon etwas Deutsch sprechen kann, führe ich gerne Konversationen.
