Hello everyone. My name is Mayuna. I am a native Japanese speaker and a qualified Japanese language tutor. I was born and raised in Tokyo Japan, and currently live in Osaka since 2017. I also have spent about 6 years of my life in English-speaking countries, including Australia and the United Kingdom. I've been teaching Japanese since 2018. In addition to teaching, I host a podcast on the Japanese language and have been distributing articles in the italki community since 2021 (#JapaneseLeague). My website: https://japanesemayuna.com/ There is no minimum level requirement for my lessons. You don’t have to bring anything to the class. Please feel free to book a trial lesson and see if it’s right for you. Lessons are very flexible and cater to students’ needs. Lesson content ranges from casual conversation to test preparation.

This was a really great lesson with Mayuna san! As always, Mayuna san balances patience with challenging recap questions to make it a truly enjoyable learning experience. One thing I love about Mayuna san's teaching style is she tries to help guide you to the answer so you feel accomplished coming up with it on your own. She also does an amazing job if I bring up an unrelated question to help answer the question, and then tie it back to the lesson. Looking forward to continuing my Japanese learning journey with the best teacher I've ever had!

I am provided with lots of time to engage in questions that I have come across in my studies or even questions that I have found in the lesson itself. The amount of clarity gained from Mayuna-sensei through these sessions is undoubtedly invaluable for anyone's study.
