Hello everyone! My name is Amélie, I'm a writer and hold a masters degree in comparative literature. I am an expert in Latin American queer literature and culture. As of fall 2025, I am an official member of the Hyperpolyglot Association (HYPIA). I am passionate about languages, literature, linguistics, history, travelling, and more! The animal that describes me best is the parrot, since I am talkative and a great imitator! My approach is inclusive : I welcome all students (safe space for my fellow queer folks!), from absolute beginner to native speakers who want help writing essays or preparing for a test!ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I have been teaching for over four years now, and I specialize in teaching French to immigrants. I have worked in the Chamber of Commerce of Montreal, in the "J'apprends le français" program, a program which allows small business owners and workers to learn French at their place of work. This program allowed me to perfect my teaching style, as well as appear on TV and podcasts to promote our approach. My philosophy in language learning is to associate the language you are learning with positive experiences. For example, a conversation about themes you are passionate about, an interest in culture, a fun travelling experience, or simply a book or movie you love. I assure you, I will talk about anything and everything! Furthermore, as an experienced language learner, I have tricks to make language learning a habit that motivates you and helps you attain your goals.
