Every new lesson with Prof Faiza solidifies my belief that she is a very gifted teacher. I am taking both Arabic and French with her, and my skill level in those respective languages is quite different, yet she seamlessly switches to match me where I'm at, while at the same time encouraging me to challenge myself. I get very anxious when I don't know the answer to something, or don't know how to do something, and get very flustered and ridiculous, and Prof Faiza is SO patient with my silliness. I am learning to be okay with not being perfect, which has been a barrier for me in terms of learning not only languages, but new skills in general. I am growing increasingly comfortable with her, and I leave each lesson with a tangible feeling of having learned something new. The results are surprisingly immediate. I've been studying languages for years alone. A few months with Prof Faiza has already proven to be more useful. I am very lucky to have picked her out of all the teachers here!

A strong recommendation for anyone who really wants to learn the language and improve their knowledge. A real teacher with all the good attributes such as in-depth knowledge of the language, teaching skills, patience, giving good explanations which you then practice with her, but never boring. Wonderful teacher! I have known Faiza for many years, and she has helped me make tremendous progress in Arabic. Even now, although I no longer study Arabic at school, I still hope to take lessons with her from time to time to maintain and preserve my knowledge of the language. She is incredibly professional, warm, considerate, and patient, and she always makes learning enjoyable and encouraging. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent Arabic teacher!

It has been a pleasure learning with Faiza. In the first lesson, I told her my language learning goals, and she has contributed tremendously. Each lesson provided an opportunity to speak and read different topics as well as learn new vocabulary. Now, I can understand profoundly many complex topics and words from French media. She is a kind and gifted teacher, and I do recommend her to all motivated students. I can’t wait to take more classes with her!
