I studied foreign languages at the University of Bordeaux while practicing fencing at a high level.
Then I qualified as a primary school teacher. I taught young French pupils for 25 years. I began in country schools surrounded by vineyards in the Bordeaux region. Today, I devote all my time to teaching adults on Italki.
As well as sport and cooking, I also like sailing. My husband and I used to spend our vacations sailing the Mediterranean.
I also practiced painting for a few years. I particularly enjoyed painting portraits and nudes in pastel.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I am calm, patient and attentive. I am open-minded and appreciate humor and derision.
I pay attention to pronunciation. I try to speak clearly to be understood. Lucky for you, I don't have a particular accent ! But never hesitate to interrupt me if a word or phrase is not understood. It is my job to repeat and rephrase.
I systematically write corrections and new vocabulary in the chat window during the session so that you can memorize more easily. You can also record our sessions using the tools provided in the software, so you can review them later.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
Learning will be based on conversation. Consequently, it is not aimed at beginners, but at learners with at least a basic knowledge of French corresponding to an A2 level.
I can provide you with discussion aids such as newspaper articles, photos or illustrations to comment on. Or you can submit your own materials if you wish.
We can also do role-playing or do something playful like a vocabulary game called "Taboo".

My lessons with Myriam involve conversations. There are no prepared texts, no studying and no homework. We talk about subjects that arise naturally, although if I have questions about French usage I have encountered during the week we discuss that. Our conversations are always interesting. I look forward to speaking with Myriam each week. My level of conversational French has risen considerably since I began to meet with Myriam. I am comfortable speaking French now, although I was not so comfortable when I began my studies with her. Thank you, Myriam!

Another great lesson! I'm always impressed with how she helps encourage speaking and keepings things interesting and fun; it doesn't even seem like you're "studying French," but just being natural, which is the goal! :)
