Originally from east London, I have moved around a lot! I currently live near Newbury, England, but have been fortunate enough to live in Poland, Russia, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Costa Rica. As a result, I'm fairly fluent in Spanish and still remember a little Russian and Polish.
I'm quite an active person: I had always ridden motorbikes, but now own a R1200 trike due to disability, and travel when I am able, particularly to places of natural beauty and interest. Being creative, I love doing metalwork, sewing and upcycling to create jewellery, clothing and other accessories too. To relax, a good fantasy or horror book or film, or occasional board games, are my go-tos. What about you?ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
I'm TEFL-qualified with a post-graduate Cambridge DELTA and a MEd in Applied Linguistics and have worked as an EFL teacher for many years. However, I've also worked as an examiner, project manager and craftswoman. Nowadays, I run both a teaching and a jewellery making business from home.

All classes include lots of speaking to help you to use English confidently.
Whilst conversation classes are relaxed and unplanned, vocabulary and any necessary grammar and pronunciation can be reviewed as we go. You can just turn up and talk about your week, or bring an article or some vocab along to discuss, for example.
Other classes are planned with particular focus on areas relevant and of interest to you, and homework is provided to enable you to practise what we have done in class or to prepare you for the following lesson.
However, I am flexible, so if you turn up needing help with something in particular- no problem at all! We can go with the flow!
