Florian Söns

Florian is a very experienced and patient teacher. A few things I really appreciate are - he encourages me to speak, always provides good conversational topics, and I’ve never felt pressured in class. He can also explain my mistakes in a way that is both conceptual and specific, so that I know what is wrong and what to avoid the next time. I’ve been having classes with Florian since I was at A2, and now at B1 I’ve noticed a big improvement in my speaking. It’s always strenuous to wrangle thoughts into coherent sentences, but I’ve gotten quite a lot better at speaking spontaneously and reacting to other people on the fly 😀

Florian is an incredible teacher, very patient and always super informative. Florian's lessons are tailored to what I am interested in learning and keep me motivated and interested in learning the language!

老师真的特别好！ ☀️第一阶段上课的时候，我的德语才A1，但是我要考B1口语。所以我水平很差，不怎么爱说话，也不爱表达，后面自己压力很大对上课也比较逃避，但是老师也没有说什么，也鼓励我很多。而且也凭借老师的直接有效的指导，顺利通过考试。 🌟第二阶段上课，我对于听力非常焦虑，对备考也完全没接触。所以第一节课全程输出，问了很多问题。但老师就很耐心听着，答疑解惑。 直到后面，我也能在每次短暂的课程中获得很多有效技巧和信心。也会积极主动交流和回答。明显比之前更加自信。 🍀谢谢老师！祝福每个考试的人！

Florian’s lessons are always fun and engaging. I'm working on improving my spoken German, and we often have spontaneous conversations in German. He corrects me properly and provides helpful tips when needed.

I have had nearly 40 classes with Florian and, despite studying being an ongoing challenge for me, I've picked up quite a bit more vocabulary, and my ability to understand what's being said to me has noticeably improved. Recently I visited my German aunt and uncle and could speak with them much more easily than ever before. Same with an elderly German relative over the phone; talking with a German cousin when we met for lunch; understanding what the MC said at a concert; reading literature in German at two museums; and so forth. Speaking is always harder, but it's great to be able to get my points across without always having a huge struggle. Florian is always patient, encouraging, and easy to work with. Thanks!
