I was really fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and I now am learning Taiwanese with Ingrid. She teaches you, talks more about the background of how things work, and also makes some funny mnemonics to help you remember things a lot better. She is an excellent teacher.

She has lived in the UK for a while and her English ability is incredible so she understands the process and difficulties of pushing one's language ability to advanced and beyond. Ingrid is a really bubbly teacher with great energy. She works to understand your goals, and shares a lot of anecdotes that give you a lot more background and provides tips to improve your learning learning. She also highlights things to common mistakes/things to look out for.
I appreciated that she shared some common areas of confusion timely, because I definitely would have gotten confused later.
Her English is impeccable, so switching between languages to clarify where needed is not a problem at all for her.
