Paul Meunier

I’ve been learning French for three years, with five on-site and online teachers, and Paul comes across the best. He corrects me on vocabulary and grammar immediately, and he explains why in a way that is clear, logical and easy for me to understand. When I ask him questions, he is also quick at replying back, so he uses class time efficiently. He gives me homework and corrects it with details before the next class. He is also knowledgeable about many things such as linguistics and culture, so it feels like a double learning experience for me. Paul is an inspiring teacher, so if you are still looking for new French teachers, I recommend you try a one hour class with him.

It was a great lesson, very well structured and very informative. Many Italki teachers focus only on conversation. Paul takes it to the next level. He explains how the french language actually works (grammar, pronunciation, etc.) so you can speak it correctly from the very beginning. Thank you very much Paul!

I started lessons with Paul from the intermediate level of French. I find that Paul is an excellent teacher, he is very supportive, professional and intelligent. I tried taking lessons with several teachers of French on italki before I found Paul, and I highly recommend him.

This was my first lesson with Paul. He was very serious, but I did manage to see a tiny small form a couple of times. I liked the way he explained the difference between the passé composé and imparfait. He also provided some material for me to work on. All and all I thought it was a productive lesson.

I had my first lesson with Paul and like many other reviews, he is very clearly methodical and patient. He tries to gauge students' language levels and weaknesses in order to better guide them. At the beginning of the lesson there was a short introduction, reading, and then explanations of grammar. Whenever necessary, Paul would give an explanation in English. At the end of the lesson, we discussed what to expect for our next lesson. It was a very constructive lesson.
