Laia

Mes leçons avec Laia sont toujours intéressantes, amusantes et utiles. Elle est vraiment exceptionnelle ! Quand j'ai commencé à suivre ses cours en 2020, j'avais un niveau B1 environ. Je faisais beaucoup d'erreurs de prononciation et j'avais souvent du mal à m'exprimer. Laia m'a toujours gentiment corrigée et m'a encouragée à continuer de pratiquer. Elle a beaucoup d'expérience, que ce soit de ses propres expériences d'apprentissage des langues ou de ses études supérieures en enseignement. De plus, c'est une personne au grand cœur : intelligente, patiente, et drôle. Maintenant que j'ai un niveau plus avancé, on souvent passe des leçons à jaser, mais je continue d'apprendre d'elle chaque fois qu'on se parle. Merci beaucoup, Laia!! :)

I have been working on my oral French with Laia for a couple of years. She tailors each lesson to my interests, and with her help, I have managed to keep my French alive better than at any other point in my life where I didn't live in a French community. She provides homework that is of interest to me and keeps me engaged. Her training in language instruction and translation makes our lessons extremely valuable to me. They are certainly worth their price. When I have a week without a lesson, my brain actually feels it, and my French weakens. On top of it all, Laia is relaxed and incredibly patient. I have a new baby, and sometimes he gets a little grumpy and I have to address the situation during class. She goes above and beyond in terms of professionalism, and we can even continue the conversation while mon petit chou is comforted. Merci beaucoup pour tout, Laia! You're an amazing instructor, and I'm so so glad I found you here.

Very calm, patient, enjoyable class

Laia is an excellent French teacher with a warm, approachable style that makes learning both enjoyable and effective. Her patience and encouragement create a comfortable environment for conversation, which has significantly boosted my confidence and speaking skills. She has a natural ability to guide lessons in a way that feels relaxed yet purposeful. I’ve noticed real progress thanks to her support and engaging teaching approach. High recommend Laia!!

Using natural conversation and a review of liaisons and pronunciation I felt very comfortable and confident during my lesson. I feel motivated to keep going and get better.
