Alex is awesome!!! He knows precisely how to cater to your level(sometimes nudges you a bit) and creates the scenarios to let you talk intuitively as opposed to just learn the words/verbs and recite them without relevance in your life. I have been studying with Alex for only 4 sessions and I have been with a Spanish Languages School in Singapore for 15 sessions in a semi-private format(2 students), but I have to say Alex cleverly accelerates my whole learning process and pushes the bar to the level that barely can any other teachers catch up with.

I started taking lessons with Alejandro about three months ago in preparation to living in Spain one day. I try to take 3 or 4 hours of classes each week. Alejandro is a pleasure to work with and a complete professional. He always goes the extra mile. He has an enormous series of charts and examples to learn from and it is really just a lot of fun. He is a gifted teacher and a pleasure to work with and I am learning so much already is such a short period of time.

After five lessons as a complete beginner, I feel that Alex is an excellent teacher. His lessons combine building vocabulary, gaining conversational skills, and explaining theoretical concepts. As a beginner I make a lot of mistakes, which Alex patiently and constructively helps me correct them. This creates a safe space in which I comfortable being active and trying out new words and sentences. I look forward to continue building my language skills!

Alejandro has helped me a lot since my first lesson with him. It's been over a year of weekly lessons and with his guidance I've been able to identify where to improve and also how. Our lessons together is always something that I look forward to.

I've been trying to learn Spanish for far too many years to admit. Until now, I have been trying to learn from apps, reading and comprehensible input and, although I have managed to get by in Spanish speaking countries (only due to having pretty good listening and reading comprehension), my speaking and writing skills are seriously basic and I need a good teacher. Alex was able to quickly assess my (many) weak areas within the trial session and he gave a mini-lesson with just enough pressure applied to stimulate growth. Thanks Alex. I will definitely be booking more lessons and look forward to seeing what can be done!

Alex is, without question, the finest Spanish tutor I’ve had the pleasure of learning from. Since our very first lesson, my understanding of the language has grown immensely, with numerous lightbulb moments along the way. His meticulous attention to detail and thoughtfully structured approach have greatly enriched my learning experience. I particularly enjoy the homework and post-lesson audio he provides, which are always rooted in real-life conversations—perfect for honing both reading and listening skills. What’s more, Alex listens carefully to your goals and prepares accordingly, yet remains wonderfully adaptable should you wish to explore a new topic mid-lesson. His ability to demystify complex grammar is remarkable. I recall with admiration how he explained the pretérito imperfecto de subjuntivo, pretérito perfecto de subjuntivo, and condicional all in a single class—with clarity that made them feel completely manageable. Learning with Alex is truly a joy.
