Yuan Yuan is such an amazing teacher, she is always able to speak to my level and use enough new words that I can learn from but also enough words I know to be able to immersively teach. I really recommend taking her class.

Yuanyuan is like an old fashion penpal.. but my daugher gets to talk to her multiple times a week. My daughter (age 14) has been with Yuanyuan for 2 years now. My daughter can speak Mandarin and having the opportunity to speak with Yuanyuan 2-3 times/ week reinforces her Mandarin and introduces her to knew words and concepts as things happen in her life. We love Yuanyuan!!!!

My goal was practicing my reading skills so I found her to be the perfect match! She’s a very competent teacher and comes perfectly prepared for every class. Whenever I have class, I can rely on LaoShi to provide me with reading material that’s suitable for my language level. I am always very impressed by her attentiveness as well as her great memory that spans over multiple classes. Besides that, I like that she explains new vocabulary using only mandarin, with many great examples and real life phrases. We also do homework and her feedback is not only very precise and helpful but she also replies very quickly. All around very happy that I stumbled upon her profile and I would definitely recommend everyone to take classes with YuanYuan LaoShi :)

Very kind and friendly laoshi! The atmosphere in class is always fun and relaxed, which makes it easy to speak up. We talk about many different topics, and I learn lots of new vocabulary every time :)
