Jakob

Jakob is my German teacher since one year now and we saw each other weekly. I think this is the first review I write him. I am a doctor, trying to learn German for work and for my every day life, and I can not recommend Jakob enough!!! He is very patient and organise, and he knows how to explain difficult german topics in a way that is really simple and easy to understand. He helped me with the grammar, the vocabulary and with the speaking. I hope he will teach German for the years to come, because it took a while to find a good German teacher here on italki and I am always looking forward to our lessons. Also I am quite sure I took all the work interviews I went to because of him helping me with them.

Excellent lesson with Jakob, very easy to talk to and very organised, presenting the errors or problems I had had in the class on a combined sheet which felt better than constantly being corrected! Vielen Dank....

Jakob does a great job making the lessons relevant to my interests and explaining things clearly. Definitely recommend him!

I am very happy that this year I have known my teacher, Jakob! He is someone with whom I have positively associated the German language, me being a visceral/emotional learner. I love that we work on texts and materials about themes I am very interested in, namely history and society. This makes me look forward to our every discussion. His method is very effective as he creates a pleasant class environment for me to make mistakes and learn from them. Jakob ist einfach der Beste!
