I've been having lessons with Laura for about 2 years now and honestly, without her kindness, patience and positive attitude, I might have given up a long time ago. I started learning Spanish in Spain but when I moved back to an English speaking country, I was worried I would forget all that I had learnt. With Laura, I have not only maintained my motivation to study, but I've improved my confidence and level significantly which I didn't think was possible when not immersed in the language. I especially appreciate the insights she provides into how and why English and Spanish express things differently and we often laugh together about how some phrases translate into the other language. Laura has always taken the time to tailor our classes to my wants and needs and because of this, I always come away from class feeling like I've gained some new understanding that I can apply in situations most relevant to me. I can't recommend her highly enough!

As always, a very well structured lesson. What I love the most about Laura's classes is, that she creates customized lessons and has always visual material prepared for the class. What is more, she's such a kind soul and a very interesting person, I could listen to her stories all day! My Spanish learning journey started with Laura in the beginning of this year and she always keeps me motivated to learn more and become a better Spanish speaker. Muchas gracias por todo!

Laura is so kind, and thoughtful, and interesting. She is my favorite kind of teacher, because she is interested in learning more about her students, and she shares true things about her own life. She is smart and pays attention to current events and reads a lot. She will never make you feel pressured about learning--but you will learn a lot from her.

I’ve taken lessons with Laura since Feb 2019. For starters, she’s very responsible, and well structured. Laura always knows how teach things in a inclusive and interactive way while meeting the needs of her students. In addition to that Laura is super friendly and fun. We have covered all topics from hobbies to music and politics. Its never a boring lesson. I can recommend Laura without reservation.

I am interested in moving to Scotland and Laura prepared a powerpoint for me about her life there and helped me understand the salaries and cost of living, and learn more about the possibility of being a student or working there. It was so helpful and encouraging! I am more excited than ever to work towards my goal. And, I am learning really helpful language in Spanish for practical, everyday things. I so appreciate the time and care Laura puts into every lesson.
