Hi there!
My name is Agnes and I'm a CELTA-certified teacher with 7 years of teaching experience. I grew up on Monty Python, Gavin and Stacy and the IT Crew. So from a very young age I was exposed to the English language and instantly fell in love.
I graduated from a bilingual high school and have been working with the language ever since. I also have a Masters in Education.
I love being able to combine my passions and teach using the tools I love most. That being books, music, movies and TV shows. I also love finding out more about other cultures and people~

Every class is tailored to the individual needs of the student.
I want to know your goals. Based upon that we can find the best speed and intensity in your learning process.
I specialize in conversational classes, in which you will do majority of the talking, so the topics we discuss will be chosen with you in mind. I love using books, articles, music and any other artistic bodies of work to make it engaging and interesting for the student. We can also work with traditional textbooks and materials.
Any homework will be something fun that relates to our discussion or lesson.

My teaching style is practical in nature.
If you cannot remember a word I would like for you to explain what you mean in the best way you can. That way we can focus on making your speech go in tandem with your thoughts. We will also make sure to expand your vocabulary depending on the topic at hand. When the need arises I will correct any grammatical errors you might be making and try to find the most efficient way for you to express what you mean.
All of this while having a nice conversation about a topic that interests you~
