Hi everyone! I am Kota from Japan. I have worked for a Japanese entertainment company for more than 10 years as an audio engineer. I precisely edit audio data including professional actors’ narrations on a daily basis. So I think I have a rather good ear which could help you speak Japanese little more naturally. I love movies and manga. In my opinion, reading manga is one of the best ways to improve your vocabularies which are useful in conversations. Because manga basically consists of colloquial conversations and almost every situation is visualized. Words used in there and their collocations are easier to remember. Ans you can read it at your pace not like movies or things like that.

I think I am patient, peaceful and relaxed. I think I am a good listener and I don't like to make people hurry. So please take your time to speak and express yourself. I am studying how to teach Japanese to foreign learners and I have found it is really interesting. I hope I could explain Japanese from a Japanese point of view. I will probably not be able to answer a difficult grammar question immediately, but I will try to look it up and teach it to you after the lesson. So, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask me. I will really appreciate it.

In our lesson, I would like you to speak Japanese as much as possible. I think the most important thing to learn any languages is to speak. I would like you to speak things which are related to you, rather than sentences written on some textbooks. That could be things you love, or maybe things you can't stand in your daily life. It would be much better that you will learn your real sentence which you can tell someone than just a drill. Through the conversation, I would like to support you to make more natural sentences, correct your grammar and pronunciation. If you would like to practice reading manga, I would be ecstatic! Please let me know which manga you are into and we could discuss it.
