My name is Nikos Koulopoulos. I hold a BA in Philology and Linguistics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MA in Linguistics from Leiden University in the Netherlands. Since January 2025, I have been pursuing a PhD at the Department of Early Childhood Education at NKUA. My dissertation focuses on political humor and identity construction through the uploading of political internet memes. My passion for language began during my first year in Philology, when I discovered the field of linguistics. Since then, I’ve been eager to connect with people worldwide, and one of the most meaningful ways to do that is by teaching Greek as a second language.ฉันในฐานะผู้สอน
My teaching career began in 2019 after I graduated from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. I initially taught Greek as a foreign language at a high school in Prague, Czech Republic, through an Erasmus+ internship. It was a unique and demanding opportunity that required me to teach Greek to students whose native language had little in common with mine. After that, I volunteered as a Greek teacher with the NGO Metadrasi and offered online lessons through Generation for Change in Cyprus. I am a patient, passionate, and committed teacher who helps students achieve their language learning goals through personalized instruction, creative strategies, and varied teaching materials.บทเรียนและรูปแบบการสอนของฉัน
I prefer teaching my Greek lessons through Italki Classroom. However, if a student feels more comfortable using another platform, such as Zoom, I can easily adapt to their preference. Throughout the lessons, I provide a variety of teaching materials, including articles, short YouTube videos, songs, images, graphs, quizzes (via Quizlet and Wordwall), and tests. Additionally, I assign short exercises after each lesson to help students better understand language concepts. Finally, I encourage my students to practice speaking and writing in Greek as often as possible. My teaching style prioritizes the student, their comfort in class and their appreaciation of language learning.สื่อการสอนของฉัน
